Professional Background
Lloyd Dwayne Eason is a seasoned financial services executive with more than four decades of corporate and investment banking experience in major bulge bracket investment banks and super regional banks where he developed deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, acquisition finance, corporate finance, debt capital markets, and private finance. His most senior position was as Managing Director and Head of Investment Grade Debt Private Placements. Over time he transitioned into senior leadership positions that blended strategic implementations, operational oversight and risk management and governance.
Career Progression
Lloyd spent over eleven years at Credit Suisse First Boston (Credit Suisse acquired by UBS AG) most recently as a Managing Director of Private Placements following earlier positions in Mergers and Acquisitions with Lazard Inc. and Morgan Stanley & Co.. He later founded Bluecoat Continental Holdings, a residential real estate investment and development company, demonstrating entrepreneurial capability, before moving into C-Suite roles including Chief Financial Officer at Md7 and Chief Investment and Operating Officer at Kelly Capital. His subsequent tenure as Executive Vice President at PNC Financial Services further expanded his leadership portfolio, overseeing complex financial operations, human resources, strategic initiatives and operational risk oversight as Chief Operating Officer for Commercial Real Estate and Human Resources.
Most Recent Roles
In 2020, Eason joined Truist Securities, where he has held multiple senior roles, including Director of Business Enablement and Risk & Regulatory Execution and Director & Senior Risk Adviser. In these positions, he served as a first‑line‑of‑defense risk expert, guiding enterprise risk programs, regulatory execution, and risk mitigation strategies across Corporate & Leveraged Finance, Asset Securitization, Equipment Finance, and Working Capital Solutions. His responsibilities included advising senior leadership regarding operational excellence, policies and procedure drafting and management, and regulator interface, all in support of corporate and institutional banking’s strategic and operational objectives.
